Low Carb Cheeseburger Pie

low carb cheeseburger pie on white plate with tomato lettuce and pickle

Low-carb, gluten-free cheeseburger pie is a fantastic ground beef casserole type of meal. With all the flavors of your favorite burger served up as a slice of pie, you’ll be wondering this easy keto dinner has been all your life!

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 35 minutes
Total Time 45 minutes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 inch round or 8x8 inch square casserole dish with coconut oil cooking spray.

Cook the ground beef/chuck with the onion. Drain well.

Spread the beef mixture evenly in the baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the seasonings, eggs, and heavy cream. Slowly pour over the beef mixture so it sinks into the meat.

Top casserole with cheese.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the center is set. Allow the casserole to rest about 5 minutes before slicing.

Serve with cheeseburger toppings like pickles, mustard, lettuce, tomato, bacon, etc.

Make it in your Slow Cooker

If you wanted to make this in the slow cooker, you’d follow the exact same steps and cook on low for 4-5 hours until the center of your pie has “set.” It’s a very simple recipe to move into a crockpot.
