Maple Apple Oatmeal

This creamy bowl of oatmeal is filled with the hearty flavors of apples, maple, and cinnamon!

Ingredients

  • 1 Small Apple Chopped (about 3/4 cup)
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Erythritol or your favorite sweetener
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon Maple Extract
  • 1/2 Cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oatmeal
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Almond or Cashew Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Water

Instructions

  • In a medium sauce pot, combine the chopped apple, erythritol, cinnamon and maple extract.
  • Sautee until apples begin to soften.
  • Add remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer.
  • Simmer for 5-6 minutes, or until oatmeal begins to thicken.
  • Taste and add more sweetener or maple extract if you prefer.
