Triple Zero yogurt is a staple in many THM based kitchens, and while it is nice to have as a quick option, it can be pricey if you eat it as often as my family does! By making my own, I can get twice the amount for about the same price.
This is so easy and simple I'm actually slightly embarrassed to share it - it's not really even a "recipe." Probably most of you do this already, but I thought it was worth a shot to throw it out there just in case you don't!
I can get 2 large 32oz. containers of plain Greek yogurt at Costco for $5.79, which is about the price of one container of Triple Zero at my local Walmart. Now, the fiber content is not the same with this as the 000. I believe the added fiber comes from the Chicory Root which they add to the yogurt. However, making your own is a good option for those who have intestinal difficulties from the Chicory Root.
Only three ingredients and less than five minutes - ready?
Copycat Vanilla Triple Zero Yogurt   {Sugar Free, THM FP}
- 1 32oz container of plain, nonfat Greek yogurt
- 4 "doonks" stevia extract (I am currently using the KAL brand, but my favorite is the THM pure stevia extract - it dissolves beautifully!)
- 1 Tbl. Vanilla extract
Directions: Simply add the stevia and vanilla to the yogurt and stir thoroughly! (As a side note - 1 "doonk" of stevia is equal to 1/32 of a teaspoon)
See? So easy and simple - and so good! You could also add other extracts to make the flavor you like best - lemon, caramel, orange, butterscotch, coffee. The options are endless! It is always nice to keep an assortment of flavorings around to use whenever the flavor urge strikes!
I like to add caramel extract to mine and use it as a dip for apple slices.
Ah, so easy! If you try it, let me know what you think! Enjoy!

Love this! Thank you. I can't wait to try. We love Triple Zero vanilla but can only get it at a store 30 minutes away. It also makes me gassy. Excited to try this alternative!
When you add caramel or other extracts, do you add a T? Do you leave out the vanilla? Thanks!

It would depend on the strength of your extracts. I would say 1 Tablespoon would be ok for a 32 ounce container.
