Is eating chicken breast healthy?
Chicken breast is high in protein and low in carbs, so yes, it is considered a healthy option.

Why is it called refined coconut oil?
Refined coconut oil is more processed than "virgin" coconut oil, but it still does have health benefits. I like to use refined so there is no coconut flavor in recipes like this baked chicken. (But if you enjoy coconut flavor, go ahead and use the virgin coconut oil!)
To "refine" the coconut oil, the coconuts are baked prior to extracting the oil. Then the oil is "bleached" (not with a chemical, this simply refers to the process in which the oil is passed through a bleaching clay for extra filtration to remove microbes and any insects and dirt).
The coconut oil in this recipe is used to ensure your everything seasoning sticks fully to that chicken breast before you place it in the oven.
Why is eating chicken important?
Chicken is an excellent source of protein. Chicken also contains Vitamin B6 which is known to help keep your blood vessels healthy while supporting your body's metabolism. Protein helps to ensure you have a healthy body and aids in weight loss, which is a fabulous reason to enjoy this delicious everything bagel chicken recipe for dinner tonight.
How many calories are in a cooked chicken breast?
This low-fat, zero carb, high protein meat offers you just 165 calories per 3.5 ounces of chicken breast.
Being able to make creative recipe ideas with chicken breast is a fantastic way to enjoy a zero carb option for any meal.
I must admit, being able to enjoy that everything bagel flavor without the added carbs surely makes me happy on those days I'm craving that everything bagel flavor. No need to cave to a high-carb bagel, simply enjoy this baked chicken!
Which is healthier, chicken breast or thigh?
While price does play a role in whether you buy chicken breast or chicken thighs, both are relatively healthy options.
The biggest difference between chicken breast and chicken thigh is the calorie count. You'll find that chicken breast provides you with 165 calories per 3.5 ounces of meat, while chicken thighs contain about 30 more calories for the same serving size.
Thighs are also considered dark meat which has more fat content than the white meat chicken you get when baking this everything bagel chicken breast recipe. But you can use either for this recipe.
This everything bagel chicken recipe provides you with an excellent source of protein and flavor combined to enjoy for dinner any day of the week.

Wait, WHAT? I didn't know you could by EBTB Trader Joe's on Amazon!! That's a game changer. I like how you used it on this chicken as a coating, I bet it would also be great on salmon.
