A refreshing grape drink with a good and healthy ACV kick.
I love Good Girl Moonshine (or "sunshine" as we call it at our house). People do look at you funny when your kids ask for moonshine! Ha!
I've never been able to drink the plain original version, but I have always loved it with brewed herbal tea and extracts. I've also found that fresh ginger is AMAZING in GGMS. A post about that coming soon, perhaps.
But here is where I have a confession - I have become lazy in my GGMS efforts. Lately I have been using a lot of the True Lime and True Lemon packets to make my GGMS, but as you probably already know, those have trace amounts of sugar in them. (Though they have been "approved" for use by THM Mamas)
I was at my local Natural Grocery when a product caught my eye - Slender Sticks. The particular grape flavor that I bought also has electrolytes and vitamins added (think of it as a healthy Gatorade), but there are several other flavors from which to choose, including this Berry Energy Tea flavor. GGMS meets Energy Drink??
Now I understand that ingredient list might be too long for purists, but for this Drive Through Sue, I thought it was a decent option!
And now it's time for my second confession - I didn't put the ginger juice in this particular GGMS, I only used the Apple Cider Vinegar. I know, I know, how lazy can I be? If you would like to add the ginger for the health benefits, I'm sure it would be fine!
I love the grape flavor - it reminds me of Kool-Aid (not that I was ever a big Kool-Aid fan)!
