How to Make Keto Almond Flour Bagels
To make these bagels you will simply follow the printable recipe card below.
Dry Ingredients | Add your almond flour and spices together and mix until combined, then set aside.
Melt Cheese | Add your cream cheese and mozzarella into a bowl and heat until the mixture is creamy and fully melted.
The mix of mozzarella and cream cheese really helps give this keto bagel recipe tons of flavor and great texture.
Mix Together | Now you will begin mixing the dry with the cheese, and slowly mix in your eggs.
Make sure to not overmix the batter or it will become rubbery and alter the texture of your bagels.
Shape and Bake | You will shape into bagels and then bake as directed. Make sure to brush and sprinkle with the seasoning before you bake.
Once done remove and allow it to cool a bit before serving.
Tips for Making Homemade Bagels
You can use a donut pan if you would like for a finer shaped bagel. You can shape each bagel into the mold of the pan. You should able to make 8 bagels from this recipe.
Meal Prep
If you enjoy meal prepping, this is a great recipe. These everything bagels are great to make and keep on hand in the freezer for a grab and heat breakfast, snack, or bread to make a sandwich with.
If you do freeze these bagels, simply allow the bagels to cool a bit. Then you can transfer into an airtight container, vacuumed sealed bag, or sealable bag. Then freeze for around 3-4 months.
Then when you are ready to reheat these bagels warm in the microwave, oven, or even toast in the oven.
Do The Bagels Rise Like Traditional Bagels
You don't have a yeast used in this recipe, so you will find the look of these bagels is a bit different than a traditional bagel.
I am very impressed by this recipe - the chewy texture with the soft inside of the bagels. If you want to get creative, change up the toppings you add to your bagels.
This recipe is versatile, and even though it is not a carbon copy of a traditional bagel, it will for sure curb that bagel craving.
How to Keep Bagels From Sticking To Pan
You will want to use a parchment paper to line your baking pan or even a silicone liner. When working with this keto dough you will find it is a lot sticker than a traditional bread dough.
So it is important to have something to help keep your bagel dough from being stuck to the baking sheet. I highly recommend not skipping this step.

Hi Sarah! Have you made this recipe w THM baking blend instead of almond flour? I find almond flour gritty and usually don’t like what I make with it..... thanks!
Sarah Hardy
I haven't personally made these bagels with the Baking Blend, but I have successfully substituted it in other fathead type recipes and it worked great!

Ingredients call for baking powder. Instructions call for baking soda. Which is correct?
Sarah Hardy
So sorry! Baking powder is correct.

Absolutely love love love these!!
One question- is it 4 total or net carbs
Sarah Hardy
4 grams of carbs minus 1 gram of fiber would put them at 3 net carbs. 🙂
