Comes together in minutes.
A sweet and easy dip recipe.
Thick and creamy.
Peanut butter and chocolate chip duo flavor.
Can You Use Powdered Peanut Butter In This Keto Dip Recipe
To be honest I have not tried swapping normal peanut butter for powdered peanut butter in this particular recipe.
I would assume it would work and help you shave off a few more calories. But, I would note that it would more than likely change the flavor a bit and the texture.
You may need to add more cream cheese or heavy cream to get it to the right consistency, since you would be replacing powder to the liquid style peanut butter.
If you really want to lighten up the calories, but still have a dip to enjoy, you can use this Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Greek Yogurt recipe.
Bonus for Trim Healthy Mamas - the yogurt dip recipe is a Fuel Pull, so you can dip any fruit you like!
How Sweet Is This Peanut Butter Fruit Dip
The nice thing about this recipe is you are in control of the sweetness. Add in a little bit of sweetener at a time and then you can test and see how you like the flavor. If it isn't sweet enough, simply add more sweetener.
I think most people will find this recipe is a nice level of sweet without being overly sweet.
But if you are wanting a bit more sweet, toss in a little sweetener at a time. That way you don't add too much at once.
Can I Make This Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Dip Ahead of Time
Yes, you are more than welcome to make this dip ahead of time if you would like. You can prepare this dip and store it in the refrigerator for up to a day in advance.
Right before you plan to serve let it sit out at room temperature for 15 minutes to help soften up the dip.
You will find the cream cheese gets a bit stiff once it chills in the fridge and sets back up.
This is a great dip to prep ahead of time for game day fun, parties, holidays, and such.
That way you can just pull it out of the fridge, prep fruit and create a plate that is enjoyable for everyone.
