Ingredients for Cheesecake Yogurt Bark

Is yogurt keto?

Plain Greek Yogurt is keto-friendly. You want to ensure it is not a flavored Greek, as for this recipe the cream cheese, berries, and chocolate chips help to transform the flavor.

Greek yogurt is high protein. ½ cup of Greek plain yogurt has just 4 grams of carbs, and 9 grams of protein. It is a fantastic snack or dessert.

How to Make Keto Frozen Yogurt Bark

Full directions for this frozen Greek yogurt recipe are below, along with measurements.

Start by lining your pan with parchment paper, this is important to prevent bark from sticking.

Then in a bowl you will add your cream cheese and the sugar free powdered sugar. Mix up until nice and creamy. It is important the cream cheese is softened.

Mix in the yogurt and vanilla and mix until it is fully combined. Pour the cheesecake yogurt onto the lined baking sheet.

Melt your chocolate chips and then make dollops on your bark and then use a toothpick to make swirls. Add on your nuts and diced strawberries!

Freeze for around 3 hours or until fully set up. Cut into pieces and enjoy!

  • Soft cream cheese
  • Mix the soft cream cheese and then add the confectionary sugar
  • Mix in the yogurt and vanilla
  • Place your bark mixture in a pan
  • Make dollops on the yogurt using melted chocolate
  • Swirl the melted chocolate into the bark
  • Sprinkle with strawberries and walnuts

Easy Way to Eat Frozen Yogurt Bark

The bark will start to thaw shortly after you remove it from the freezer. I find that if you place it in a bowl and grab a spoon you have the best success eating the yogurt without the mess.

It almost tastes like ice cream once it thaws slightly from being frozen. It is a delicious dessert for sure.

Variations To Frozen Greek Yogurt Bark

There are so many ways you can change up this Greek yogurt bark. Let me share a handful of ways you can change it up to fit your preference of flavor. If you do change it, let me know what you find is best in flavor.

Fruit - Essentially you can swap in any of your favorite fruit. Or reach for what you have on hand if you prefer. Blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc.

Chocolate - Swap the chocolate with white chocolate, semi-sweet, milk chocolate, etc. Just ensure the chocolate you use is sugar-free.

The other thing instead of melting and swirling the chocolate you could just drop the chocolate chips on for more crunch factor.

Nut Butter - Consider adding little dollops of your favorite nut butter and swirl it on like you would the chocolate. Tons of flavor and nutrients. Check out my easy fruit dip made with peanut butter.

Nuts - Leave them off or swap the nuts with slivered almonds or any other of your favorite nuts.

Matcha Powder - Stir in some matcha powder for a tasty green tea flavor to your bark.

There are tons of ways to change it up, so let me know what changes you make!

Can you freeze Greek yogurt and eat it like ice cream?

You can indeed freeze Greek yogurt like in this recipe. The frozen Greek yogurt will be a harder texture that melts down fast.

Ice cream offers a creamier texture, but eating frozen Greek yogurt is a healthier alternative, and can curb that sweet craving you are having.

Storing Frozen Yogurt Bark

Make sure to store this yogurt bark in an airtight container.

It will store nicely in the freezer, and then when you want some, just take a piece or two out and enjoy.

Just remember this will melt quickly once it begins to warm up.

Such a delicious and simple healthy snack to enjoy.

Just wondering if using 000 Oikos Yogurt would be okay, or is the full fat yogurt necessary?
